Some memories of I-Chun...
Memorial service program
Shortly after I-Chun's death, we established a fund to address causes that I-Chun was passionate about, and to help those who suffer from the illness that struck her so tragically. We appreciate the support of the Peninsula Community Foundation in setting up this fund so quickly (more about PCF).

UPDATE: I have distributed the remaining money in the fund on Dec 26, 2004. This date marks 1000 days since her death and would have been our 13th wedding anniversary. The donations went to six organizations listed on my JustGive charity wish list. Four of the groups focus on the rights and care of people suffering from mental illness (Active Minds, Inc.; Mentality; Stamp Out Stigma; The National Alliance for the Mentally Ill). One focuses on reducing barriers to employment of recent immigrants. The last group is Kara, a Palo Alto grief-counseling agency that was an extraordinary help to me after I-Chun's death; I am an active volunteer and board member at Kara today.
